Who can create and manage surveys?

Survey creation and management are restricted to Board Secretaries and Administrators. Directors participate exclusively as respondents and do not have access to survey configurations, logic, or administrative settings.

How do I create a survey?

Administrators can launch surveys from the Tasks module by selecting Request > Survey. You can build evaluations from scratch, duplicate previous assessments, or use predefined governance templates.

Can I customize a survey before sending it?

Administrators can add multiple pages, customize titles, descriptions, and question logic, and adjust response types before distribution.

Can I preview the survey before launch?

Yes. The Preview function allows administrators to review the survey as it appears to respondents, ensuring that all branding and question structures are correct before the survey goes live.

Can I edit a board assessment survey after I launch it?

No. To maintain data integrity and consistency of responses, surveys are locked upon launch and cannot be edited while active.

Can I assign a board evaluation survey to a committee?

Yes. Surveys can be assigned to individual directors, groups, or committees. Only active portal users can be designated as respondents.

How do I track progress and completion?

Administrators can track real-time progress through the Tasks dashboard. The board portal provides status updates as responses are submitted and sends notifications once the survey reaches 100% completion.

What export options are available for results?

Aggregated results can be exported as an XLSX report. For non-anonymous evaluations, administrators also have the option to download individual responses as PDF files.

How do anonymous surveys work?

Anonymous mode removes respondent names, can randomize response order, and allows only aggregated exports once the survey is marked completed. It is intended for a board effectiveness survey or for any topic where confidentiality is critical.
